05:15 pm: Called on account of rain
Today I finished melf42's present, so here it is, cut for spoiler protection:



We were supposed to have a yukata photo shoot today, and I had come specially dressed (as instructed) in shorts and a halter top under my clothes so that I could change...and then the teacher canceled because it was overcast. She wanted better lighting to take pictures. (Um, in case you haven't noticed, the rainy season has started...) So I guess we'll just have to wait until later.

So nice! Great work! Is that all hand embroidered or were you able to use your nifty new machine? *must must start doing some sewing or cross-stitching*

That was done with the machine. There's no way I'd be able to do such intricate work with the way needles slip out of my fingers...or even if I could hold them, really.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

I imagine the fonts are programmed already, but what about the pictures? Is it like clip art that stores a library of possible icons, or do you have to be able to draw first to get the images?

It looks like the sky is the limit with what you can do with your machine and the patience and perseverance and work and...

The ink pot and quill I drew using Photoshop. The rest was all just using the fonts.

Well, I must say, you made the zipper look very easy indeed! And such beautiful artwork on the back. I love the wrist holder too! What a good idea!
