I missed you all while you were having fun without us!! Looking forward to the trip report when it comes.
It was definitely a busy week, including such adventures as a trip to the City of Love and spotting the Giant Fries that Destroyed Tokyo.
In a Japanese noodle restaurant in Porter Square this weekend, I caught myself slashing fishcakes. My dining companions gave me strange looks. I blame wednesday_10_00 and mangaroo.
There is an actual comment there, but it's a secret comment, meant to be seen only by those who have comments e-mailed to them.
The blankness is not at all related to my stupidity.
It must be related to my stupidity then, because unless I'm REALLY not getting the joke, the emailed comment was blank too.
I feel very dim tonight...
Was it? Your e-mail must allow HTML. (Mine doesn't.) It was the darn < > tag, which I forgot, in my brief absence, doesn't work on LJ. All I wrote was "<evil cackle>," a lame joke surely not worth all this fuss. If I'd known it wouldn't show up in your e-mail anyway, I would have just deleted it. Lesson learned!
Hee hee! Wakatta. (My email does display HTML.)
I've been feeling stupid all day. Maybe it has something to do with this ^&*$% popup virus that I cannot seem to get rid of after countless scans with an antivirus program and three separate highly-rated spyware removers. DO NOT POP UP AND OFFER ME AOL SMILEYS ONE MORE TIME while I'm translating G-Defend DAMMIT!!
I so need to go to bed.
sara-chan have you really been up all night??? *tsk tsk* Are you going to be ok for tonight? We love G-Defend but not at the expense of your health and well-being! *firesign10's mom side comes out...*
LOL! Fortunately, the time stamp is misleading. I think I posted that comment around midnight.
At least I think I finally killed the spyware menace by around 2 am (thank you Spyware Doctor). It was just unbelievably irritating -- the popups kept jumping up in the middle of whatever I was doing every five minutes (sometimes five or six in a row), and no matter how often I ran pest software and restarted, the pests kept re-seeding themselves. Gah.
Now, to get some actual work done today, now that I don't have to restart my computer every five minutes!
