I got the keys today, and the first truckload of boxes has been unloaded. I have tomorrow off, so we're going to be busy packing up stuff from my apartment to take over, plus shopping for landscaping (and other miscellaneous) supplies while we have a rental truck available.
megory quickly made friends with the next door neighbors. Apparently they are Mexican, so she spent the entire time speaking with them in Spanish. (I, of course, tried to speak one word, and Japanese came out.)I will update later with more details and pictures.
