06:02 am: Indy 0100
My adventure for this week began yesterday as I set off for the airport, this time as a passenger, on my way to job training in Indianapolis. I had a 9:30am flight that boarded on time. However, as the clock continued ticking, the plane remained stationary. First there was some network glitch, then the check engine light came on...by the time we finally began moving, over an hour had passed.

Since I only had a half hour layover in Dallas, this delay did not bode well. Indeed, the plane landed well after my connecting flight took off. The airline bumped me to a later flight...MUCH later. It was scheduled to depart at 8:10pm. As if that weren't enough, THAT plane wound up being delayed nearly an hour getting in from Boston. By the time I made it to Indianapolis, arranged a ride to my hotel, and checked in, it was past 1am. That's local time, so technically it was three hours earlier for my West Coast-acclimated self, but since my training starts at 8:30 this morning, I imagine I will be operating at less than optimal levels.

...On the bright side, I found a quarter on the floor at the airport when I arrived in Indianapolis, so the day wasn't a total loss...

Sorry you had such a terrible flight. That sort of thing seems to be more and more common now. :-(

Good luck with the training! How long does it last?
