Another thing keeping me busy is preparing for my trip to Japan. I'm trying to get my apartment tidied up, though it's difficult to stay on top of the dishes when I can't help dirtying more with every meal. Today I spent a lot of time harvesting as many of my herbs and vegetables as possible before they all die from neglect. One of my cookbooks has a recipe for green tomato curry with garlic and potatoes, so I tried making that for supper tonight, and it tasted pretty good. At least the poor unripe tomatoes won't be going to waste.
I'm leaving on Sunday, and I don't know whether I'll be able to update until after I get back.
